I would be more than thrilled to join a company that has inspired me and can't wait to help everyone walking through the doors into Apple. The social outreach programs like Product (RED) and Apple's vocal support for LGBTQIA+ are clear signs that Apple's corporate values align with my personal ones.Īfter reading Glassdoor reviews of what its like to work at Apple, I am positive that its the best place and most perfect fit for me. Their commitment to privacy resonates with me deeply. Apple is the sole tech company that I trust. In an almost equal footing with their products, the company is one I also love. They're beautiful, they're powerful, and many times they "just work." The products Apple makes are something that I love. It started out fixing iPods with the sad face icon, and all through high school moved to Macs and iPhone repair. It was then that I realised I could start selling this skill to my friends. When it broke, I couldn't afford to buy a new one so I opened it up and was able to figure out how to put it back together working. When I was 13 I had my own iPod Video that was my pride and joy.

At one point I even memorised the Apple website. I would spend hours using that thing, opening every app and seeing what it did. It was aluminium, had a large flat screen, and was totally different than the Windows PC we used to have. I can remember thinking that the computer was so cool.

In middle school my dad bought an iMac as a family Christmas present. When I was asked why I wanted to work for Apple in 2016, it looked like this. What I find missing the most is the ability to take the passion they have and make it a personal, relatable story that's obvious destination is to wear the shirt.ģyrs ago this month I clocked in to Apple for the very first time. They talk in bullet points about "I'm passionate about technology," "I like the products," "I'm known around family and friends as the tech guy," etc. Either they've never gotten an interview or they have gotten them but don't ever get a role.Įvery time I ask "why do you want to work for Apple?" The response is nearly always the same. I have people in my DMs at least once a week asking me for advice on applying to Apple Retail*.
